DWMA's Women's Self-Defense Class is FREE & on going. Held on the first and third Saturday of each month, it is a one (1) hour class, and again FREE to all women ages 13 and up wishing to attend.
This class is intended to address the before, during and after of an unfortunate, but possible situation. There will, periodically, be literature for class participants, but there will be nothing necessary to bring to the class...but family and/or friends of course.
The class is based on fundamental Aikido principles of center, movement and spirit. Some of the same material will be covered each time to re-enforce muscle memory of the things the student learned in previous sessions, and introduce new techniques/movement as well. This class will also address some of your "What if..." scenarios as you know what you have seen, felt, heard or experienced.
Please wear something loose fitting and comfortable. No shorts or sleeveless shirts please.
Please pass this along to all your friends and family, as it only costs time. Probably our most presious commodity.
SCHEDULE1st & 3rd Saturday of every month 12pm-1pm
(Class is held on RSVP only)
We look forward to training with you. Have a great day.
