We would all like to thank John Messores Sensei for teaching at our Summer Seminar. Messores Sensei brought some great insight both on the mat and off the mat. His down to earth no nonsense approach is very refreshing, and anyone able to have him to their school or region would benefit greatly. We would also like to thank all those who attended that weren't from the dojo, and especially those that traveled from out of state. Thanks to everyone for making our event a successful one. See you next time.

I would like to recognize Ayla Vain for her invaluable contributions to Feldenkrais®, DWMA and me. She has so selflessly taken upon herself the task of refining the dojo website. She has demonstrated such support to traditional martial arts, and a positive way of life here in Las Vegas through her generous contributions of valuable time, effort and knowledge. I am proud to have her affiliation with DWMA, and look forward to a bright and continued future with her and Las Vegas FELDENKRAIS®.

Thank You

I would like to take a moment to thank all the people here at Desert Wind Martial Arts, both students, instructors and their families, who demonstrated such dedication and support for Budo, the dojo and me while I was away in Iraq.

I would like to particularly thank the following individuals, who's continued efforts in keeping the dojo operating in my absence, and since my return, is most greatly appreciated; Edsel Sanchez, Jaimie Peterson, Summer Peterson and Nick Yuskov. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, unappreciated, nor will they be forgotten.

This thank you goes to Hiroyuki Shirai for all his continued support to the dojo, myself and all those involved. His efforts to spread the knowledge of the Japanese culture through Shodo (calligraphy) and the Japanese language will be remembered and appreciated for ever. In addition, selflessly giving himself and his time to help those junior to him, by sharing his knowledge of Aikido and supporting the dojo in my absence was truly in the spirit of Aikido.

Thank you to Mr. Murai Masayoshi and the Japanese Judo Olympic contingent who visited our dojo, training here during their stay for the 2004 US Open Judo Championships. It was a great honor having such tremendous athletes make their home here at Desert Wind Martial Arts. You have a home anytime you find yourselves here in Las Vegas.

I would like to recognize Jeffrey Vrabel for his invaluable contributions to Aikido, DWMA and me. He has so selflessly taken upon himself the task of refining the dojo website, and with the support and guidance of DWMA he has transformed this website to its effective communication tool that it has become. I am so very pleased with his abilities and knowledge that he has provided to further the positive growth of Aikido and traditional martial arts here in Las Vegas.

In addition, the original efforts made by Edwin Pierce to initially begin the website as it was DesertWindAikido.com, and Benjamin Fields who then refined it that much more, also comes greatly appreciated.

Thank You All
